What Inspired This Harv Eker community?
I first saw T. Harv Eker speak in San Diego, CA.
I remember the day vividly.
He was featured in a San Diego Learning Annex Class and he said something very profound that evening.
He said that if we were sitting in the seats we were in, it was because we had called him forth. I don't think he meant it in an arrogant way, but more of a spiritual "divine" way. He meant that up to that point, our journey may have been full of struggle and strife.
He continued with his Millionaire Mind Evening presentation and I was very moved as I had never heard the information he presented before.
He announced that one of his first MMIs were coming to LA and we were all invited. His book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind had just been released and it was climbing up the charts.
I went home that night, excited and thrilled to be changing my life. What happened the next year is something that I think many people can relate to.
I went back to my "old" life; my "old" job and my results never really changed. I made some good choices and some bad choices . I took some great personal development courses and was learning at great lengths.
I had the typical "I know that stuff already." and pushed off MMI for about a year.
My schedule finally opened up and I committed to the 3 day course to see what I could get out of it.
Well, the rest is history. The 3 day course totally opened my eyes. I met some great friends and went to enroll in 3 more courses.
I have been a part of several community forums and even attempted to establish a Train the Trainer Yahoo group about 2 years ago. (the spam bots destroyed the group, unfortunately)
Since MMI, I started marketing online and have become quite proficient marketing online and assisting small businesses get ranked in the search engines.
Now, I'm proud to say I have several thriving online businesses and wanted to build a community of like-minded folks to connect, network and share.
That's it really. That's the inspiration of this board and community. Like all communities, its very important to treat all like you would like to be treated.
Napolean Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, talks about the importance of "mastermind groups." Groups where we can share, network and grow.
Again, that's the intent of this community.
I don't mean to be long-winded, but I wanted to add some clarity to this board. I hope you can find some value in it.
Namaste,
